Symi, also known as Syme or Simi, is a Greek island and municipality. It is a mountainous island that includes several localities, port cities, beaches and areas of importance in history and mythology. In Symi we can find different points of interest scattered throughout the island, some of them are the monastery of the Archangel Michael Panormitis, in which monks still live; the Kastro overlooking the capital, the Clock Tower, the monument to the fallen in the war; or the Nitboy village, a beautiful town full of history. As for parties we must highlight the Symi Festival, from July to September. In this festival we will see perform in free outdoor concerts and also many dances and theatrical events.
